Grassy Field Engagement Session // Owen + Kendrea
Isn’t it wonderfully crazy how the universe brings people together?
We’ve known Owen and Kendrea for years, long before they were even dating. When Juwan first moved to Australia from the USA, he quickly became good friends with Owen’s older brother, Luke. About a year later, Luke fell in love with another newly-arrived American, Kayla - who also happens to be Kendrea’s big sister. Do you see where this is going?
After all us high school sweethearts were grown up and married, we used to hang out together at games nights, watching Owen and Kendrea’s banter and thinking, “Will these two just hurry up and date already?!” Thankfully, they eventually came to this conclusion on their own and it wasn’t too long before they were getting ready to say, “I do” themselves!
Even though people joke about them being the sequel to Luke and Kayla’s story, they have their own special kind of love that’s refreshing to be around.
It seemed pretty fitting for their engagement session that we explore the national park near where they all went to high school together in the Sydney Hills District. We had so much fun frolicking through fields; dancing in the long grass; saying goodnight to the sun; and welcoming the moon over the hillside.
