Whether it’s capturing the everyday tender moments in your own home or getting outdoors and creating a different kind of magic, get ready to unplug, let loose and have the time of your life with the ones you love! No stiff poses or awkward smiles here - just lots of laughter, dancing, playing and snuggling in reeeal close!

We specialise in photographing families with young children who love to run wild and explore the great outdoors together. With a background in early childhood education, Sariah is super passionate about the power of play and honouring the magic of childhood. We will never force your little ones to smile or sit still or pose for us. Instead, we invite you to play alongside them and see the wonder of the world through their eyes. Smell flowers, collect rocks, dance like no one’s watching. This is your safe space. Let us gently guide you as you soak in the presence of the ones you love.

No two families are the same and we invite you to come as you are; have a blast together; and leave feeling uplifted, inspired, and reminded of the things that matter most.

WHY DOES IT MATTER WHO CAPTURES OUR STORY?

Photography is so much more than clicking a button. To get those images that make you feel something, you need to be able to let down your guard and be vulnerable. Because it's you who is bringing the emotion.

It is so important to us that you choose someone you vibe with, someone you trust. This isn't just a routine car service or check-the-box ordeal. These are your family's memories and legacy we're talking about here. You deserve to feel unapologetically and authentically you, so that when your children look back on your photos throughout their life, they know you, and they sense the way your heart is exploding with love for them. They see the light in your eyes when you look at their sweet faces, and the crinkle of your nose when you laugh. That's what it's all about.

A lot of our families also choose us because they know how much we adore documenting love stories, too. Juwan usually runs around with the munchkins (or puts babies to sleep - don't know how he does it!) while Sariah gives you time and space for some loved up couple's photos!

The Investment

Although money can’t buy happiness, it can definitely fund some pretty amazing experiences! We’re asking you to be open and vulnerable with us so we can capture the essence of your family. We are also super open with you so you know exactly what you’re getting into, including cost. The only time additional fees may apply is if you’re asking us to travel over an hour (one-way), shoot at a location you’re dying to explore that requires a paid photography permit, or if you’re after something that’s not listed here. In that case, get in touch and we’ll give you a quote. A 30% non-refundable retainer is required at time of booking to secure your spot, with the remainder due before your session.

FAQ

Where can we hang and take photos?

We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful country, and there are soo many incredible places to explore around Sydney and the South Coast! We have plenty of amazing spots to take you around the Sutherland Shire where we live, or you might like to choose somewhere meaningful for you and your family. Heck, if you want to go get ice cream and walk around your area, that’s cool with us. We are also 100% down with hanging out in your home and capturing those authentic, everyday moments that show a genuine glimpse into your lives.

What the heck do we wear?

We’re so glad you asked because your outfits actually play a major role in how your photos turn out! We want you to be comfortable and feel confident but there are also some guidelines that we like to send our clients to make sure that everything will look great on camera. There’s no need to stress - we are here to help you plan it all out! We also have a small collection of dresses available in our slowly but surely growing client wardrobe.

When and how do we receive our images?

We use an online gallery system to deliver your lovingly edited digital images approximately two weeks after your session, for you to download, print, share and keep forever!

How much do you retouch our photos?

Sariah is our chief image editor and she thinks you’re amazing just the way you are! That being said, she will generally lightly retouch anything temporary (e.g. acne, scrapes, etc.) in your final images, unless of course you ask us to leave it. We’re passionate about self-love and positive body image so we don’t alter face or body shapes and sizes.

Do you offer prints?

At this stage, we’re keeping things simply digital. When you download your images, you are free to print as many copies as you like, wherever and whenever you like. We can help you out if you want some recommendations on some quality printing labs!

We really want photos but we’re on a budget… How can you help?

We feel ya. We’ve been through newly-wed life and student life and the struggle is real. We are happy to work out a payment plan to help you budget it in.

Do you offer extended family sessions?

We love intimate, playful sessions and currently offer immediate family photography only.
